ABOUT VALENTEENA IANNI and the KILLER Dancer’s PATH Tribal Fusion bellydancer and teacher from Rome, Italy, Valenteena Ianni is well known in Italy and in Europe for her stimulating and precise way of teaching and her emotional performances. Director and main choreographer of ‘Armonica Dance Company’, founded in 2012, Valenteena performs alone or with her Company all over the main tribal fusion world festivals. In 2015 she developed a program now called .:: KILLER Dancer’s PATH™ ::. structured in 4 Killer Immersions of different levels. It’s a tribal fusion training offered to dancers of every level who look for technical and creative tools to grow and to teachers who are looking for an alternative and clear teaching method.

In every level Valenteena will break down precise instructions regarding: Tribal Fusion Bellydance technique and Vocabulary Personal training routines Choreography composition for soloists and groups Improvisation tools Musicality Personal style development Teaching skills and Teacher training Vol.1 is an overview of all the listed topics with an accent on Fundamental Technique and Vocabulary. No homework and final test required. From Vol.2 on students will be provided of handouts and lectures, will have to complete the assigned homework and will have to pass an included test at the end of every Volume regarding all the treated material. The test is optional but the certification is required to move on the next Volume. Just the students who have the total participation in all the classes and who have completed the requested homework can award the certification if they pass the exam. Prerequisite for attending the Vol.2: Killer Immersion Vol.1 attendance.

ABOUT "CASA DELLA PACE"

A RETREAT CENTRE IN THE HEART OF ITALY FOR YOGA OR MEDITATION RETREATS, AND FOR VACATION IN NATURE AND SILENCE. A PLACE FOR RELAXING, WALKING, EATING GOOD VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN FOOD AND FINDING YOURSELF.

We offer you a house, studio, garden lounge, outdoor pool, meals and being in touch with nature. Casa della Pace is located few kilometers far from Gubbio and Città di Castello, 35 km driving from Tuscany, at 650 mt altitude. It is surrounded by hills and woods offering an excellent opportunity for hiking in nature. With one hour driving one can be in Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo, Urbino. The food is vegetarian only, largely organic, prepared with great care. Silence and close contact with nature are between the main features.

Since 1999 Casa della Pace has been offering hospitality to seminars and retreats of yoga, meditation, dance, massage or other activities in tune with the spirit of the place.

A centuries old de-consacreted church with wooden floor is now the studio for our classes. Quiet, totally connected with nature, an amazing experience in itself!

ACCOMODATION AND FEED

Casa della Pace offers: * Double Rooms with private bathrooms * Double Rooms with common bathroom * Four-bed rooms (with 4 single bed or one double and two single beds) with private bathrooms * Double Rooms can be booked also with a single occupancy at different rates

All-inclusive: the registration rate includes all dance classes, lodging, three vegetarian/vegan meals per day.

Airfare, shuttle transportation, excursions and massage services are not included.

Note: If you have a partner or friend who would like to accompany you, but won't be taking the workshops, his/her cost is less than the respective room rate below. This non-participant rate includes all meals and the shared room. If you would like to register a non-dancing participant please contact us and we’ll send you registration details.

If you register at the double occupancy rate and are attending the retreat by yourself, you will be assigned a roommate. If you already have a roommate please contact us after your registration and tell us the occupancies’ names.

GETTING TO CASA DELLA PACE Flying

Nearest airports are Rome (3 hours driving or about 5 hours with public transport), Ancona (less than two hours driving), Bologna (two and a half hours driving), Pisa is about 3:30 hours driving and Florence (about 2:30 hours driving). Recently Perugia (one hour driving) has been connected directly with London Standsted, Barcelona and Bruxelles. If you are a group, we can arrange for a minibus to come and fetch you in the airport. In any case, we can help you to find the best way to get here.

Driving

From Florence: Highway to Arezzo, from there follow the signs first to San Sepolcro and then to Città di Castello. Once there, follow the direction "centro" go around the ancient walls of the town keeping them at your left and passing four roundabouts in total. At the fourth round about turn right (first exit) following the direction "Gubbio", go straight 1 km until on the left you find the sign “Pietralunga”. Driving about 19 km in that direction you will find the sign 'S.Andrea' on your left. Follow it. 5 km more, four signs in wood with written "S.Andrea" will show you the right way. Last 400 mt are not asphalted.

From Milan or Venice: Highway until “Cesena nord”, then E45 toward Rome until the exit "Città di Castello nord". Once there, follow the direction "centro" go around the ancient walls of the town keeping them at your left and passing four roundabouts in total. At the fourth round about turn right (first exit) following the direction "Gubbio", go straight 1 km until on the left you find the sign “Pietralunga”. Driving about 19 km in that direction you will find the sign 'S.Andrea' on your left. Follow it. 5 km more, four signs in wood with written "S.Andrea" will show you the right way. Last 400 mt are not asphalted.

From Rome: Highway to Orte, then follow the direction Perugia and Cesena , exit at Montone - Pietralunga and follow the signs to Pietralunga. Once there, immediately after a "Robi" petrol station, turn left for Città di Castello. Follow this road for 2.5 km. A sign on your right will show the way to 'S.Andrea'. Follow it for 5 km more. Four signs in wood with written "S.Andrea" will show you the right way. Last 400 mt are not asphalted.
